We ‘Amara Raja Batteries Ltd’ are an Indian company manufacturing complete range of VRLA batteries for Industrial and Automotive applications (www.amararaja.co.in)
We are a joint venture company of M/ s Johnson Controls, Inc, USA, the largest manufacturer of VRLA Automotive battries in world.
We have achieved a net sales revenues of USD 280 million ( Apr07 - Mar08) , resulting in a growth of almost 70% over last finacial year ( Apr06 - Mar07).
We are an ISO 9001, ISO 14001 & TS 16949 certified company located in southern part of India and the largest manufacturer of VRLA batteries in India for Telecom sector.
We have commanding market shares in Indian market and are a preferred supplier to all major Telecom service providers and equipment manufacturers in India. Our prestigious customers include Airtel, Vodafone, Idea, BSNL , NokiaSiemens Networks, Ericsson, Motorola, Hwaeii, ZTE etc..
We are also approved and regular suppliers to UPS systems like APC, MGE, Emerson in India besides a host of local UPS manufacturers.
Our Powerstack & Quanta batteries have proven their performance in 15 countries worldwide over last few years including those of Taiwan, Australia, Thailand, and countries in Middle East & Africa.
